You have likely noticed that IntuList allows you to create two different types of lists to upload your leads to. One is regular and the other is priority. So let’s talk about the difference between the two. Please note that we have a very detailed tutorial on how IntuList’s priority system works. We highly recommend that you watch this video.
Regular Lists
You do not need a buyer to import data into a regular list. You can still sell it after import, but you don’t have to have a buyer ready to take the imported data in real time as it’s being imported into your list.
Let’s imagine that you have an excel file with some leads in it. You simply want to store this data in IntuList instead of a file on your computer. You would create a regular list and upload the leads to it.
Or let’s say you have a squeeze page set up that advertises your offer and asks people to sign up. You want to make sure that all signups go into your IntuList account even though you have nowhere to send them in real time knowing that at some later point you may want to do something with the leads. This is another good example of a regular list.
Once the data is in your system, you can do with it whatever you like: API it anywhere you want or download it as a file at any later point.
Priority Lists
Please watch this video on how to set up priority lists.
Priority lists are needed when you want to reject leads that your buyer(s) does not accept.
Let’s say that you are a data broker and you’re buying leads from source A. You also want to sell that data to buyer B. Source A is APIing the data to you and will charge you a flat fee for every accepted lead. So you only want to accept a lead if, and only if, it is taken by buyer B’s API. This is a perfect scenario for a priority list.
Priority lists have to have one or more priority orders set up for them waiting for the data to come in.
